Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. introduced the CFX Connect real-time PCR detection system at Pittcon 2012 in Orlando this week.
The CFX Connect system, which requires a computer for operation, offers the same thermal performance as the CFX96 Touch real-time PCR system. It uses a similar scanning optics shuttle design that reads each well individually with high sensitivity and no cross talk to deliver optimal quantitative results. The CFX Connect detects two fluorophores per well in duplex experiments and detects SYBR Green or EvaGreen in singleplex experiments.
Effortless optimization—saves time and reduces costs by optimizing assays in a single run using the thermal gradient
Accurate data analysis—CFX Manager software offers an intuitive user interface and the ability to quickly and accurately validate and analyze data
Accelerated publication submission—provides minimum information for publication of quantitative real-time PCR experiments (MIQE) annotations and real-time PCR data markup language (RDML) files using Biogazelle’s qbasePLUS software
